Very excited to make available 3 new works I've been developing this past month. They are all physical single pieces. More at my SHOP

“The Elastic Mind, which is a psychological term that refers to the ability to think non-linearly and be fluid to survive in times of rapid change and uncertainty. In other words, to "have the capacity to let go of comfortable ideas and become accustomed to ambiguity and contradiction, the capability to rise above conventional mindsets and reframe the questions we ask, the ability to abandon our ingrained assumptions and open ourselves to a new paradigm, the propensity to rely on imagination as much as on logic and to generate and integrate a wide variety of ideas, and the willingness to experiment and be tolerant of failure." (Mlodinow, 2018)”

Honored to have one of my favorite works included in this exhibition. If you are passing by Fort Lauderdale, Florida, stop by.

The Elastic Mind will open to visitors in the gallery on April 20th at 10 a.m. and run through September 28th, 2023 at 4 p.m. A reception will be held on April 20th from 3 - 5 p.m. at the gallery.

Vacation is over! This summer has been a very joyful summer with family and friends. I'm thrilled to announce I will be teaching at Maryland University and at Nova Community College on the Fall of 2022. At UMD I'll be teaching full time and at NVCC I will teach one class. I'm back in the studio too. It has been a clean-up time and studio set-up, especially after 2 intensive years.  Stay tuned for more information about the Fall classes I will be teaching and about new works that are being baking. All the love-J
